Ancient Humans Bred with Completely Unknown Species
According to a new study in Royal Society meeting in London DISCOVERS A NEW GENOME FROM ANCIENT ANCESTOR, Denisovans, seems to have a DNA sequence from UNKNOWN SPECIES. So 30,000 years ago, western and Asian population were interbreeding. Important is that they mated with a MYSTERY SPECIES FROM ASIA– that is neither Human nor Neanderthal.
There is not much data available about the appearance of Denisovans due to lack of their fossils' availability, but the geneticists and researchers succeeded in arranging their entire genome very precisely.
